About Us

About Us
Virsaat Dance Academy is committed to preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Punjab through the dynamic and energetic art of Folk Bhangra. With deep roots in tradition, Bhangra embodies the spirit of community, joy, and celebration, originally performed during harvest festivals to express gratitude and unity.
At Virsaat Dance Academy, we take pride in teaching authentic Bhangra, ensuring that every movement, rhythm, and expression stays true to its origins. Free from modern fusion, our performances capture the essence of Punjabi storytelling, brought to life through high-energy movements and vibrant expressions.
A defining feature of our dance is the Dhol, the powerful double-sided drum that serves as the heartbeat of Bhangra. Its deep, resonant beats drive the energy of each performance, creating an electrifying atmosphere that connects dancers and audiences alike.
Our mission is simple: to preserve the authenticity of Bhangra, inspire future generations, and share the beauty of Punjabi culture through dance.
Join us as we continue to keep this timeless tradition alive—one beat at a time!
